Homa Residence Complex, located in the desert city of Semnan, has entrusted our team with the ONLY design of its facade.
The striking appearance of the building facing the main street was the client’s primary request. The challenge was how to meet that goal while also incorporating desert-related concepts into the design.
We found our inspiration in the heart of the Semnan desert in a dried riverbed. That image served as the inspiration for the central blue gap feature in the Homa Residence building.
Fictitious elements were utilized in the facade to cast shadows on the windows and to compensate for the flatness of the existing plan-derived shape. Additionally, materials such as white stone were used for the lower parts facing the street, easily accessible to pedestrians, while the upper portions were constructed using white cement for economic efficiency.
